Orange-Stained Glassy Grains
Under the microscope, glassy grains of calcite or quartz show heavy orange iron stain.
Meteorite check: Unlikely, because the features look sedimentary or terrestrial. Translucent grains and an orange interior are negatives; meteorites are gray to brown inside and never transparent.
Not identified as carbonado. Specimens are under study and not lab-confirmed.
